Glutathione

Glutathione is a tripeptide consisting of glycine, glutamate, and cysteine.

Glutathione is found in nearly all cells at a high concentration and can be thought of as a kind of a redox buffer. This means it can bind chemically aggressive substances. It is involved in the elimination of toxic peroxides like ozone and can bind to dangerous heavy metals.
