Gingerbread
Description of productGingerbread is a long-life bakery product containing a high proportion of sugar, honey, dextrose or glucose syrup. The characteristic flavour of this Christmas speciality results from the addition of a specific spice mixture (gingerbread spice) prepared from aniseed, cloves, coriander, cardamom, allspice and cinnamon. Many varieties and shapes of gingerbread are available, including "printe", honey gingerbread and dominos.
